Wedgewood is a master planned golf course community which means all development is carefully planned to create and maintain value. Wedgewood integrates 20 neighborhoods with land uses such as open space and public facilities (churches and schools). The master plan also creates covenants and homeowners' associations to uphold community design standards.
Wedgewood has received an Environmental Excellence Award from the Minnesota Builders Association for the preservation of trees, sensitive treatment of wetlands and conservation-minded landscaping.
