Doug Monson, Chief Transformation Officer

As Chief Transformation Officer at Wedgwood, Doug Monson leads enterprise-wide transformation programs that drive innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. With a strategic vision and a deep understanding of transformational change, he is responsible for aligning business goals with strategies that unlock value, enhance agility, and deliver on financial targets. Doug is responsible for leading the Transformation Management Office at Wedgewood.

Doug brings 25 years of experience in leading companies through periods of exponential growth, M&A integrations, and strategic pivots. He has a proven track record of accelerating financial performance, optimizing business processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital innovation.

Prior to joining Wedgewood, he held senior leadership roles at companies ranging from high-growth start-ups to public corporations. Doug was COO at Blue Rabbit, a fast-growing next generation prescription management and home delivery service enabling access to an expansive formulary of pharmaceuticals, diets and compounded medications for small animal and equine veterinary practitioners and their clients. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President of Proprietary Brands North America at Covetrus, where he managed a $300M+ portfolio of private label pharmaceuticals and medical surgical supplies. He was formerly Vice President of Growth and Strategy at Covetrus where he lead a $100M transformation program. Doug began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dartmouth College. He lives in Maine with his family, where they enjoy spending time on the water and exploring the mountains with Balsam, their 85lb yellow lab.
