Dr. Duffy Jones doesn't just talk about reinventing veterinary medicine — he builds the tools that make it happen. A practicing veterinarian and visionary entrepreneur, Dr. Jones is obsessed with solving real-world problems in practice management through smarter tech, better systems, and bold leadership.
He founded Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital and scaled it from a one-doctor startup to a 14-doctor powerhouse by doing what most avoid — embracing data, leading with purpose, and designing systems that actually work. His mantra? "We believe we can make a positive difference in people's lives by taking extraordinary care of their pets." And his track record proves it.
Dr. Jones has done it all: start-ups, scale-ups, acquisitions, and exits. He's held every leadership role at the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and taught hundreds through the Veterinary Management Group (VMG). He also brought his business acumen to the national stage as VP of Operations for United Veterinary Care, overseeing operations and growth with an insider's perspective.
Today, Dr. Jones is the co-founder of dvmSuccess Vet Group, home to AiLoVet — the only self-funded, veterinarian-run AI company in the game — and a growing suite of products built by veterinarians for veterinarians: Dvm Scribe, Dvm Me, Dvm Specialists, Dvm Touchless, and Dvm Practice Intelligence. Together they give practices real-time insights, pricing clarity, and the power to drive profits with precision. This work played a central role in the successful sale of 14 hospitals, proving that when you measure what matters, you move the needle fast.
He also consults with the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, bringing that same data-driven approach to the teaching hospital — because better medicine starts with better systems.
When he's not coaching veterinary leaders, you'll find him coaching the next generation of soccer players on the field at Marist School in Atlanta. He's also the author of The Business Side of Veterinary Medicine: What Veterinary Schools Don't Teach You — a must-read for any veterinarian who wants to build more than a caseload.
Dr. Jones lives in Atlanta with his wife Courtney, their three kids, and Rudy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the real boss of the house.
Fueled by purpose, powered by data, and driven to make veterinary medicine work better — for everyone.
