Wedgewood Voluntary Recall Information

For more than 40 years, veterinarians have trusted Wedgewood to help care for their patients, and pet owners have trusted us with animals who are part of their families. We never take that trust for granted.

Through our own quality processes, we identified inconsistencies in certain analytical testing data that affect our confidence in that testing data. Based on the information available to date, we have not identified an increase in reported complaints or adverse events associated with the affected products. But when we don't have the level of confidence we require, we believe the responsible thing to do is to act. That is why Wedgewood has initiated a Voluntary Recall of certain affected products, which is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

• Review the official Recall Notice and determine whether you have affected product.
• Quarantine affected product and follow the required recall instructions.
• Complete and return the Recall Response Form if required.
• If you further distributed or dispensed affected product, follow the notification instructions in the Recall Notice.
• For questions about an animal currently receiving an affected medication, contact the prescribing veterinarian and follow the approved patient guidance provided with the recall communication.

Wedgewood is working to help veterinarians and pet owners maintain continuity of care, including identifying clinically appropriate alternatives where available. Treatment decisions for an individual animal should be made with the prescribing veterinarian.
